Basketball Training Tips – Hitting The 3 Pointers Every Time
If you want to become a really valuable player for your basketball team then a good idea is to work hard on your three point shots. Knowing how to sink these shots regularly will really make the difference and get you maximum respect and admiration from players and fans alike.
Working towards 3 Point Shots
I’ve at all times been fairly decent with a long shot, and I put this down to the time I spent training in my youth. What worked then can still work now, so I’ve gotten again into the basic 3 point drill.
I choose 5 spread out spots at intervals alongside the line and try to score a set number of baskets, before shifting along to the next area. If I can practice hitting it, from all of the angles, I can avoid developing any weak spots in my game.

Using The Backboard

As with free throws, it’s important that you follow through, all the way, with your wrist. Even pros can fail to give their wrists the fully travel required, especially when things are tight. It’s even more of an issue for everyone else.
You might not get the movement down for a little while but over time you can master it. Nobody is great from the beginning but with some hard work and persistence you can really make some major improvements.
