Gift packaging ensures your present looks perfect

Buying presents for some people isn’t always easy. Their tastes may be very particular, for example, or it may be that they seem to have everything already. However, if they enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, there are various items of clothing that will suit them. remember, though, to always make sure you use the correct Gift packaging.
Without it, the socks, sweater, hat or scarf won’t look as nice as it could, and that will detract from the overall effect. Wrapping it properly will show you really care, and that you put a lot of effort into selecting that specific item.

Tweed clothing – a touch of country style

tweed clothing is for many people synonymous with country life. Tweed itself was first developed by Scottish weavers at the end of the 18th century.

There are many different types of tweed, each of which is designed to reflect the natural hues and colours found in the Scottish Highlands. Originally, each Highland estate had its own unique pattern of tweed which was worn by everyone who lived and worked on that estate.

These days, tweed clothing is worn by all kinds of people, and not just those who live and work in the country. It is as practical as it is stylish, and does a great job in protecting the wearer from the elements.

Lambswool angora – the perfect wool mix

ure angora wool is impossible to make, because the fibres are too fine and the wool will simply unravel. Therefore angora fibres are usually mixed with other soft wools, such as lambswool.

Angora wool tends to be very warm and is frequently used for edging on sweaters or to knit hats and scarves. It is truly a luxurious yarn and most lambswool angora wool clothing is very expensive. This is because the harvesting process is so time consuming. The wool produced can be used in a wide variety of clothes, and the results are luxurious to the touch and highly desirable to wear.

Tweeds – classic outdoor wear

There are great new clothing ranges for all manner of outdoor pursuits, and one of the first lessons learned by practitioners of any outdoor activity is to make certain you have the right kit.

However, there is one timeless piece of clothing that has endured dure to its functionality and style. I’m talking of course about tweeds. Jackets, caps, skirts – all manner of fashionable country clothing has been fashioned form tweed for many years.

Although, for many of the pursuits I enjoy I wouldn’t wear tweed. For instance, it would get terribly muddy on a day spent quadbiking, there is though nothing better than tweeds for a good walk on the hills or out and about in the 4×4.
