Family attractions – something for everyone
My wife and I have three young children, ranging in age from four to eleven, and there’s nothing we enjoy more than having a day out on Sundays. No matter how hard we all work during the week, the weekends are always our ‘together time’. There are many family attractions in our local area, and we’ve visited many of them.
Personally, I prefer seeing stately homes and castles, but this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, of course. My wife’s favourite days are spent walking along the beaches of one of the seaside resorts near our home.

Corporate hospitality in Scotland – perfect for all companies
I work for a company that regularly arranges weekends away to build team spirit, and sometimes to entertain clients. In recent years, we’ve been to many venues around the UK and even in France. They’re all good places, but I have to admit there’s nothing quite like the corporate hospitality in Scotland.
The range of activities I have enjoyed north of the border is wide, and includes many exciting, fast-paced ones such as paintballing, driving 4×4 vehicles and outdoor adventure games such as captue the flag. And in the evening, they provide the perfect locations to relax and unwind.

Looking for a new homes development
A cousin of mine won the lottery recently, and has been able to invest in some luxury cars and properties in the last month or two. His first purchase, however, was a boat. He’s always loved fishing, and he was telling me that he plans to spend a lot of time on the water from now on.
He has been looking for a new homes development close to the coast, purely as a base for when he’s sailing. I’ve never been into fishing personally, but I’m pleased for him because it really is his abiding passion.

The best stag weekends Scotland can offer
My brother got married last year, and the ceremony itself was beautiful. The reception was highly enjoyable, too, partly because it was held in a very nice country hotel in the countryside. Ask many of the male guests what their favourite part of the celebrations were, though, and they’ll mention another thing altogether.
We went to one of the best stag weekends Scotland had to offer, and a brilliant time was had by all. As well as enjoying some of the finest restaurants, bars and clubs you’ll find anywhere, we also enjoyed some fun-packed outdoor activities during the days.

Enjoy a mini Highland Games in Edinburgh
I work in Stirling, at a fairly nondescript office, in what used to be a very quiet working environment. However, that near-silence has changed in recent weeks, due to an event that took place last month. My firm took us to a mini Highland Games in Edinburgh, in an effort to boost the flogging morale of the team.
It proved to be a roaring success, and most of us haven’t stopped talking about it ever since. First and foremost, it was enormous fun, but perhaps more importantly, it has changed the way we all interact with each other now.

Find superb houses to rent in Linlithgow
My wife and I have decided to move home, but after the recent recession neither of us has much confidence in the mortgage market. So we’ve decided to lease instead, and we’ve found a superb range of houses to rent in Linlithgow. The town is perfect for our needs, especially because it’s surrounded by lovely countryside.
We really enjoy walking at the weekends, and are eagerly looking forward to discovering the local area. A long stroll this coming Sunday morning will be our first adventure, hopefully followed by a delicious lunch and a couple of drinks in a picturesque pub.

Buying a garden table
With barbecue season finally here at last, I’ve decided to throw a party for a select bunch of family and friends next weekend. I like to plan these things quite far in advance, and it’s just as well I did – my old garden table is well past its sell-by date, and so I’m going to buy a new one before the big day arrives.
I’ve already had a look for a new garden table online, and I have to admit that the amount of choice of there is a bit overwhelming, to say the least. I don’t want to spend too much, but I do want something that will last.

Folding table – great for camping and outdoor fun
My family and I are camping enthusiasts, and enjoy nothing more than a weekend away in the fresh air and indulging in our favourite outdoor activities like hiking and biking.
I was on the lookout for a folding table we could take with us on our camping trips. It had to be lightweight and sturdy, and of course I didn’t want to spend too much either.
I stumbled upon a great website that specialises in camping equipment. The table I bought from them was an absolute bargain, and it has now made ten successful trips with us – I would thoroughly recommend shopping online.

Hen weekends in Scotland for a tranquil time
You can do just about anything for a hen or stag do these days. The most popular events for hen and stag weekends seem to be city-based boozefests or exciting outdoor activities like quads – and not just for the guys. But, just as popular is the idea of a relaxing hen spent with friends in peaceful surroundings and a glass of champagne.
That’s where hen weekends in Scotland are ideal. You can book lodges in the great Scottish outdoors complete with hot tub and sauna and all the home comforts you could want.
Some of these lodges are only a short walk from main hotel complexes with spa facilities to further indulge yourself.
