A great day quad bike trekking

Quad bike trekking was something that I’d always wanted to try, but – after years of procrastination – I only recently got round to doing it.

It was an amazing day out. Taking a tirp around the hills and valleys is fun a tht ebes tof times, and on more than a few occasions I’ve spent the day travelling around the couuntry in a 4×4, but quad bikes are completely differnet.

The camaraderie amongst you and your fellow quaders is great, and you can really get some power out of these little things as you tear up the turf. In short, id recommend it to anyone who wants an amazing day out.

Legal quad bike trekking

Police forces throughout Scotland have launched a clampdown on the illegal use of quad and trial bikes on forestry paths across Scotland.

Recent activity has been in the West Lothian region where police officers have seized ten off-road vehicles which were being used illegally on popular walking tracks.

The recent press coverage goes to show the demand for off-roading and quad bike trekking within Scotland, and why sticking to using one of the many registered and respected companies operating in this established market is a sensible decision.

It also opens a whole range of more exciting and interesting routes with some fabulous trails available in Perthshire and the Highlands.
