You’re probably sitting there quite comfortable just now. I bet you are relaxing in front of your PC or lying on the sofa with your laptop on, however, how about getting outside for a great day out?

It is a big world out there with plenty to see and d. We’ve got a few suggestions – some cost, some are free, some will suit single travellers, some more families but they all have one thing in chosen – they are great fun.

Nothing makes you appreciate home than getting away from it for the day and experiencing something different.

Even better, you can have a great away day for free bar your travel costs. If the weather is good then there are few things better then enjoying a day out in the hills or countryside walking or cycling. You can take a picnic for lunch and on the way home stop off at a quiet, little village pub for a delicious tea and a drink.

Similar trips can be enjoyed if you head down to the coast for a day on the beach, although admittedly good weather is prerequisite for such days out to be deemed great!

A great day out for free needn’t cost a fortune. Most towns, and particularly larger cities, have a number of free attractions – such as art galleries and museums – available while family tickets and group deals can make visiting paid-for attractions relatively affordable.
